At Massey Drugs, we believe in supporting our provider partners with clear communication, helpful tools, and responsible engagement. As part of our ongoing efforts to build meaningful professional relationships, we offer a quarterly giveaway drawing for eligible healthcare providers who register for access to our secure Practitioner Portal.
Please review the terms and compliance disclosures below:
Giveaway Eligibility and Terms
- Effective June 28, 2025, any licensed healthcare provider who registers for the Massey Drugs Practitioner Portal will be automatically entered into our quarterly giveaway drawing.
- Each quarter, one eligible provider will be randomly selected to receive a small non-cash gift valued between $25 and $40.
- A provider may only win once every 12 months. After winning, the provider will become temporarily ineligible for future drawings for one year.
- Each provider is entered only once per drawing. Multiple entries are not permitted, and entry is not tied to prescription volume, business generated, or referral activity.
Compliance with Federal Law
Massey Drugs is committed to full compliance with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and the federal Stark Law, which regulate how healthcare providers and entities interact, particularly when federal healthcare program reimbursement (e.g., Medicare or Medicaid) may be involved.
To ensure compliance:
- This giveaway is not tied to any referral, prescription, or volume of business.
- Participation is automatic upon portal registration, and no purchase, order, or referral is required.
- Winning is based solely on random selection, and providers are not incentivized to refer patients or write prescriptions to Massey Drugs.
All gifts comply with the Stark Law non-monetary compensation exception, including adherence to the 2025 aggregate value limit of $519.
Oversight and Transparency
Massey Drugs maintains records of giveaway entries and winners to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid any appearance of undue influence. Internal policies are in place to ensure impartiality, and we periodically review these activities with legal counsel.
